Fredericksburg The Official Guide Tour – May 12, 2018

Fredericksburg The Official Guide Tour is a new family-friendly event series based off of the Historic Fredericksburg Foundation, Inc.’s popular publication, Fredericksburg The Official Guide. Each tour within the series includes stops at three downtown locations where guides will share the importance of its history and why it is worth preserving.

This first event in the series will take place on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. You will get the opportunity to tour three churches:  Fredericksburg Presbyterian Church, Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, and Shiloh Baptist (New Site). A couple days before the tour you will be notified which church you will start the tour in.

At each stop you will hear interesting information from an HFFI and/or Church Representative, and have time to look around the sanctuary. A program with a map will be provided the day of the tour that will indicate your route. You will learn a lot of fascinating facts about these historic buildings. Bottled water and a light snack are included.

If you purchase a combo ticket with the discounted Fredericksburg The Official Guide book, it will be reserved and available for pick up at the event. Ticket cost to HFFI members is $20 without the book or $30 with the discounted book. Ticket cost to non-members is $25 without the book and $35 with the discounted book.
